Kayla Meneghin, Special Advisor to the Hockey Director, Signs with Buffalo in the NWHL

Kayla Meneghin, Special Advisor to the Hockey Director and Skills Instructor, has signed a professional contract with the Buffalo Beauts of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL)!

Kayla has worked with the Guardians Front Office this summer to help build a strong culture and development plan for the organization going forward. In addition to her on-ice expertise, Kayla has also been able to assist in forming plans for player advancement on both the Co-ed program and the Women's program.

Prior to her role as Special Advisor and her recent signing with the Buffalo Beauts, Kayla spent four years with SUNY-Plattsburgh of the NCAA Division III, followed by two years with the Connecticut Whale of the NWHL. During her tenure as a SUNY-Plattsburgh Cardinal, Kayla amassed three NCAA Division III National Championship titles with their Women's Ice Hockey team. Kayla finished her collegiate career ranked 4th All-Time in Career Points, 5th All-Time in Career Assists, and tied for 5th All-Time in Career Short-Handed Goals in NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey history.

Kayla will continue to serve as a Special Advisor to the Hockey Director while she plays out her NWHL season with Buffalo.
